The Hornby Foundation will look at all applications however preference will be given to organisations in the Furness and South Lakes area.
The Foundation does not provide ongoing support and is more likely to offer one off awards. No award will usually total more than £10,000 however maybe considered on occasions.
Preference will be given to causes which supports children or youth work, disabled facilities and causes where a lot of the work is done on a volunteer basis.
The Trustees are looking for organisations with good long term planning and a stable financial plan
